The Change of Cubicle!

My First Companion:

Hello folks! I am back after a really long time, today it's not about blogging an illusionary story but Jenkies! its about me.. Isn't it funny!? he he.. I really don't have any emotion left to show now.. Boogie-Woogie! let me blog what I feel & it's for me this time, just to preserve my memories safely for days to come.. BTW to my pleasant surprise, I came to know that I(my blog) have viewers from all over the world now, wow! Cheers to me! its a nice Stat from my watch list.. ha ha!

Actually, I was in the quest, probably that may be the reason which took me so long to scrap here, let me tell you what was it all about, here it goes:

"Karmanye Vadhikaraste, Ma phaleshou kada chana,
Ma Karma Phala Hetur Bhurmatey Sangostva Akarmani"
-Srimad Bhagavad Gita, Chapter 2, Verse 47
Meaning:
You have the right to perform your actions, but you are not entitled to the fruits of the actions.
Do not let the fruit be the purpose of your actions, and therefore you won’t be attached to not doing your duty.

The above lines enlightened me and made me to focus on my duty always and it will always keep me going!

Good Books are Best Friends!
Hmm..! I remember it was a Thursday, November 14th, 2013, I was thinking for some time that 'Am I at right place?! Is everything balanced in personal as well as in professional life?! Is it right time for me to bring in a change in my work life?!' I kept thinking on how to do graceful yet responsible exit with no expectation from my Employer nor demanding anything from my 'First Companion'. At the same time I read Sachin Tendulkar's decision to hang up his boots. He walked into the middle of 22 yards for the last time representing his Nation, he held his head high, stood focused on ground amidst loads of distraction & scored a determined 74 runs @ the age of 40, his bat spoke for him!

The people who knows their Job well and Loves it 'Dil Se' answers the challenges, critics by their work & actions not by words! May be they know the day when learning seems to be getting saturated, the work done till date gave them a pleasant satisfaction, they opts for CHANGE without any greed, then there comes a moment of Graceful Exit. Sri Gita, Good Books & Sachin always Inspired me! He(Tendulkar) has proved and showed time & again that a man can achieve great height and learns new aspects only by exposing himself to challenging situation, man will be made to know his potential when he is out of his comfort zone. This thought marked a new beginning in my Life too!

"The Time has arrived and the stage is set for my last day's performance at HC-LTL for TM-oB", Since April 14th, 2010, Its been a long Journey, I feel time has elapsed lightning quickly making me grow older by 4 years and I have gained around 4 years of experience. The Journey was tough, challenging and every step was memorable, I cherish every bit of it in my own ways.

My First Team during training.
Mavens Team in Jigni, Bangalore.
During Hungama with mentor AJ in 2010.
My Mom always taught me how to be thankful to those who helped, Dad showed how to do good deeds constantly & stay away without poking nose in others matter, Bro's patience was exemplary.

If I have done something good for the Project & to My Team, then it is purely by the mercy and blessings of Almighty. Thanks to my Family & Friends for their humongous support. The timely guidance I got from my well wishers has made me better every time.

There were few nice people around me, whose time & timely help is worth remembering, they had motivated me at my work place (where I spend half of my day, most of my life), The Mentors, Trainers, Pals, HRs, Leads, Colleagues, Managers, House keeping unit, Security, IT & Lift operating staffs, Vendors..etc Some of them were truly God sent, because, when I am drained out of energy, their words made me smile, they brought me back on track and unknowingly to themselves some of them has inspired me at different stages in my career. Everyday there was something to learn, either professionally or personally!

O! Company..! Thanks for your company!
Now it's time for me to say Good bye!
It makes me happy, It makes me sad,
Thanks for the opportunity, I feel so glad..

Its a cycle of giving and taking,
Pleasure or Pressure, its all about enjoying..

Here it's not all about fun, but there was so much to learn,
In any work place not only money, even Respect we need to earn..!

Now it's time for me to say Good bye!
This makes me happy, this makes me sad,
Thanks for the opportunity, I feel so glad..
O! Company..! Thanks for accompany!

My Testing Team, with few ppl missing in pic.
During a B'day bash!
Today, I look like a Joker, a wanderer, at times a loner or a flirt who is doing time pass.. ha ha.. That's fine.. BTW, I can recall those days( 5 years ago) of recession, days when I was Jobless and suddenly got two good offers. Getting into 'Desi' Company was dream and it came true! Later, people termed me foolish or crazy when I left or missed probable offers in Singapore & USA (Client) as I wished to serve 'My First Companion' for few more days in Bangalore.

Config, Development & Testing Team
during a Photo session with LOB Head, Bangalore!
I love to remember my Mentor AJ's words in May,2010, I cherish to recall often. Things and people turned out the way he told, making me learn to accept Change and Truth. I am Thankful for his words! A Special thanks to you AJ!

Thanks to my trainers, especially to 'Sandeep' for teaching many etiquette's, those trainings showed me the value of good behaviour & gave courage, It brought in discipline, it laid a Strong foundation!

Varun's views on Good Employee and the offer he gave me (along with AJ & Maven's support) to work for a Big client handled by a youngest Manager (Probably in MWSOA, Bangalore), which I was about to reject but held on listening to my Special Sis words, brought me to get practical exposure in Testing Domain. This marked the beginning of my career! The word from Varun 'Youngest Manager' struck me somewhere as Inspiration!

Maven's in Mysore, First Team outing!
AJ with Ashw!
Once getting into project things were new, friends were away, I was finding tough to pull up my socs, illness added salt to injury but after that with the Mercy of God, help of Friends, under the guidance of Leads, Managers, Peers I started to feel better and worked with Mind & Body, Heart & Soul for about 4 years!

Most cherished thing was mentoring new team members, training them behind the scene gave happiness. I always wished what difficulties I underwent, they shouldn't.. Team outings, Festo's, New year & X-Mass celebration were memorable, even though I don't prefer to eat & drink outside, I looked like a lazy participant.

Healthy Competation with mutual Co-operation do helps & it makes a difference!
Making fun, cracking PJs just to make people smile gave kick start for the day. Nice to see people happy because it makes us to forget our pain & personal issues! I Got a Chaddy Buddy in office, time spent was really nice, it was fun! Before that, My first Lead Divya was kind to me, thanks to the people who trained me on middle-ware testing, Babitha(TMO Encyclopedia), Naveen, Mallik. Once they left Sundari(2nd lead) took over from where Divya left, Thanks to her help, support & good words she spoke, it was pleasure. I got a chance to work under Surya & Anupama (4th & 3rd lead respectively) they were different from others, approach was different it gave me new dimension to see work and life, a Big thanks to them as well. Thanks to my onsite counterparts, Development (Retail, RSP, ESOA, TIBCO) & CM team folks for timely reply.

League of Outstanding trophy.
16th Jan, 2014.
I learnt many things seeing my Managers working from a distance, thanks for their faith in me. My Project Manager Binoy (Mostly youngest Manager in SOA Team), Aarthi (Retail Team RM), Ilayaraja (Retail Lead) & Hari (My Last RM) were very nice to me & to entire team. They were devoted to work always, the way they conducted & lead the team at the time of issues needs to be noted. Yes!, they were truly motivational in corporate sector! Gaurav, Ashu & Client side people like Chriss, Prem, Vipin were remarkable in IT, they kept me awake about my duties.

I calculated a formula based on my experience that some of the HRs & high level people will be having a beautiful smile, a fluent accent & a good appeal trough which they will easily negotiate with any issues, as they confuse rather than convince employees. I have met many LOB heads, HR's in many interviews and interacted with few in same firm and from other firms as well, but out of them I felt only few were really concerned for employees from heart, only few had time to listen to issues even in busy schedule & works for employees. Thanks to Bharthi Ji & Linnet Ji for being realistic, thanks for proving my formula wrong in this firm.
Savandurga Trip Pic with few friends!

Behind the scene, if someone had helped me and if I am not aware of them, then I THANK YOU wherever you are. I never wanna name my friends individually and thank them because, it was their job to be with me, help me :-)

My First Company means a lot to me, It's not about money, It was my passion to work, desire to lead. My Job meant a lot to me and my family, because, this was what I dreamt for & prayed for from so long when I had no Job during rescission, this was the first firm which improved my livelihood and changed my lifestyle. That's why I am proudly noting every special moment here for me & for my family. The won't happen each time you change the company, we grows and becomes materialistic!
TEAM WORK, WORKS!!!

I always wished and prayed that I shouldn't do any mistake at my workplace or in my work, if in case I do (by chance), I wished let it won't impact the reputation of company & client, let no consumers be suffered because of unknowingly or knowingly committed fault. I prayed if i am not 100% or not accomplished the work perfectly let the project be moved for next release or let it go out of scope..!

Wearing company ID in the beginning of my career was like wearing a Medal, it used to make me feel proud! I am sorry if I have unknowingly or knowingly hurted someone with words or by action. BTW I feel happy to see my Jr's, whom I trained, reaching good position or getting a good name.. I find myself in them :-) Sometimes, I gets into a bad habit of commenting on everything either openly or by hiding but still I loved my people & place heartfully, silently!

Bangalore Team form HC-LTL for TO-MB!

Experience can only be experienced but can't be explained! Nice exposure & experience in life from past 5 years. Chalo! Lets move on.. Let me take things as it comes, with head on ground..! Let my focus be back to work, Cheers!! Wishing Good luck to myself and praying for God's blessings on me in my future endeavours. As of now, signing off, catch you with next blog! Keep reading, Keep smiling. Good Luck to my company, all the employees & to my team! Nintendo!
